I believe that confident and effective instruction is at the heart of being a great Golf Professional. Teaching golf isn’t just about fixing swings — it’s about building trust, giving students confidence, and helping them enjoy the game more. I focus on breaking down the swing into clear, simple steps that make sense for each player, but just as important to me is taking the time to understand what motivates them and how they learn best.
I also believe in staying open to the many tools and technologies that continue to shape the way we teach. From launch monitors and video swing analysis to new training aids and performance apps, these resources give us fresh ways to measure progress and explain concepts more clearly. Having access to these tools allows me to adapt to each student — whether they respond best to visuals, numbers, or feel — and give them feedback that truly resonates.
At the end of the day, I try to make every lesson a partnership. My goal is to help students improve, but also to make sure they enjoy the process and feel supported along the way. Golf can be challenging, and progress takes patience and encouragement, which is why building strong relationships and adapting my approach to each player are such important parts of my teaching.
